Top Posts: Sunday School Revolutionary Celebrates 14 Years

It seems like yesterday that I began blogging. Prior to becoming a staff member of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, I had been writing weekly church newsletter articles related to Sunday School, discipleship, and administration. So when the KBC staff was trained in blogging, I volunteered to give it a try.

After writing three months of blog posts, I had gotten very few comments. I wondered if it was worth it. I went to Brenda Smith to ask if there was a way to tell how many people had viewed what I had written. She asked if I wanted to turn on Google Analytics to track statistics. I said absolutely.

After tracking statistics for only 13 days, I had 353 pageviews. I was hooked. The idea that I could help people any time they needed help was exciting. Since the Spring of 2006, I have written more than 1,300 posts, and the blog has recorded more than 1.5 million pageviews. Helping people has fueled my writing for 14 years, and contributed to writing my book, Disciple-Making Encounters: Revolutionary Sunday School.

Keep in mind that the blog is very searchable. Just type in a word or short phrase in the block on the upper right side and hit return. Or type revolutionary (or Sunday School Revolutionary) and then whatever term you are looking for in your favorite web search engine.

Thank you for your work with Sunday School. I appreciate what you do. And thanks for reading this blog, sharing the posts, and making comments. Feel free to let me know if you have questions about Sunday School that I have not addressed. I want to continue to offer help any time it is needed into the next decade! Make disciples.
